- German tax reform plans for 2008, released during the week ended 9 February 2007, contain a number of proposals that will significantly affect businesses. If enacted, most of the changes would become effective from 1 January 2008, although some changes may be effective for all fiscal years starting after the government formally agrees on the draft (which may take place as early as March 2007). This article discusses the proposals, including the earnings stripping rule, and changes to transfer pricing rules
