- On 19 June 2018, France and Germany agreed on a common and supportive position (the Meseberg Declaration) on the European Commission's proposal for a directive establishing a Common Corporate Tax Base (CCTB) as they fully share the general objective and substance of it. This article focuses on modifications aimed at completing or amending the CCTB Directive on certain points whereas all other aspects proposed by the European Commission are fully supported by both countries
