- The General Court of the European Union has handed two Irish airlines a partial victory in their battle with the European Commission over the recovery of unlawful State aid. Although the finding that the airlines had received unlawful State aid was upheld, the court ruled that the calculation of the amount for which the airlines were liable to repay was flawed, and had to be annulled
