- On 14 August 2019 entered into force Regulation 2019/1238 on a Pan-European Personal Pension Product (PEPP) which will make it easier for EU residents to save for old age through a personal pension product. Banks, investment institutions and insurers can offer the PEPP in the Netherlands from 2021 onwards. The fiscal facilitation of the PEPP is not included in the Regulation and is left to the Member States. In this contribution, the authors analyse the most important tax aspects of the PEPP
