- The authors deal with foreign companies having their business activities in the Netherlands. Description is given of the Dutch legal frame work relating to the recognition of a foreign company. A comparative article is devoted to foreign vs local company structures and activities. Special attention is paid to the residency, non- discrimination and emigration/immigration aspects. Some examples of foreign entities structures such as Delaware Inc., Liechtenstein Stiftung and Anstalt, etc. are given. The texts of the proposals presented to the Parliament on "Wet formeel buitenlandse vennootschap" (No. 24.139) and "Wet conflict recht corporaties" (No. 24.141) are appended
